Collect the stories, not just the tickets.
SideQuest gathers Toronto's events into one feed and picks the ones that suit you and your friends: your taste, your budget, and a trip that works for everyone.
Launching in Toronto, starting downtown.
One feed instead of six apps
Toronto's events are spread across ticket sites, meetup pages and city listings. SideQuest brings them together, then works out which ones are worth your night.
We gather the listings
Events from Eventbrite, Meetup, DICE, Luma, Ticketmaster and the City of Toronto, in one place.
Your taste avatar picks
Choose your vibes, add a few events you've been to, and say how far you'll travel. Every pick tells you why it suits you.
Crew Blend finds the night
Add up to three friends. SideQuest finds events the whole group will enjoy, at a price and trip that work for everyone. Then you vote.
You go
Tickets stay with the original listing, so you buy them the way you already do. Afterwards, tell us you went and your next picks get sharper.
Inside the app
An early look at three screens. Events and venues are real Toronto listings; the friends are made up.
Every pick comes with a reason
SideQuest weighs how well an event fits you, what it costs and how long it takes to get there, and tells you in a sentence. If nothing fits, it says so.
Crew Blend plans for the whole group
Add your friends and SideQuest merges everyone's tastes, budgets and starting points. You get picks the whole party will enjoy, then vote and lock one in.
Ask for what isn't on yet
Can't find a beginner pottery class on a weeknight? Post a Quest Request. Others upvote it, hosts see it, and if one puts it on, you hear first.
2,789 real events, already sorted
That's how many in-person events our first test import found across the GTA for the next four months. SideQuest starts with three scenes and goes deep on them.
Listings come from Eventbrite, Meetup, DICE, Luma and the City of Toronto's open data, with Ticketmaster next.

Know what people want before you plan it
For hosts: every search that comes up empty and every Quest Request is a signal. SideQuest shows hosts what Toronto is asking for.
- Demand insightsWhich scenes, nights and price points people are looking for, and where they're coming from.
- Claim a requestPut on what people asked for. Everyone who upvoted hears about it first.
- Reach the right crowdYour event shows up in the feeds of people whose taste it fits, not everyone's.
Questions
Does SideQuest sell tickets?
No. When you pick an event, we send you to the original listing to get tickets there, the same way you would now.
Where will it work?
Toronto first, starting downtown, with three scenes: music and nightlife, arts and making, and active and social.
When does it launch?
Soon. The app is in testing now with real Toronto listings.
How does it choose events for me?
It looks at how well an event fits your interests, what it costs, how easy it is to get to, and whether your friends are going. Free and cheaper events come first when the fit is similar. For a group, it looks for something everyone will enjoy, not one person's perfect pick.
What's a Quest Request?
A request for an event that isn't on yet, like a Filipino indie music night on a Friday. Others can upvote it, and hosts can claim it and put it on.
